Lakeside USD is an energy project developed and sold by Climatec LLC. an Energy Division based out of Phoenix, Arizona. The energy project included mechanical equipment replacement at 12 school sites. In addition to new mechanical equipment, the project included new solar arrays, transformer replacements, and roofing. The mechanical replacement consisted of approximately 300 Carrier unitary equipment and accessories consisting of roof top package units, exterior wall-mounted package units, and split systems. The project included a new Carrier i-Vu building automation control system upgrade across all sites. The existing gas electric units were replaced with new efficient heat pumps to lower the heating and cooling costs and help reduce our carbon footprint.
