The design-build renovation and expansion to the Radiology Room is an OSHPD project at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. Working with Kitchell, Countywide Mechanical is completing the mechanical and plumbing scope of work. The project aim is to reuse as much of the existing structure as possible to limit costs and required shut downs. Split into three zones, two terminal boxes will be reused and one new. New branch ductwork will be installed downstream, with diffusers and grilles replaced. The plumbing scope includes medical gases, domestic hot and cold water, and waste and vent piping.
