Valley Center-Pauma USD Air Handler Replacement

Five schools (Valley Center Primary School, Valley Center Elementary School, Valley Center Middle School, Valley Center High School, and Pauma K-8) and the District Office of the Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District received like-for-like equipment replacements over summer break. In total, (11) Split Systems, (144) Rooftop Package Units, and (2) Exhaust Fans make up the scope.

The work required a multitude of installation practices, including a a helicopter (high school), fork lift and pro-lift (elementary), and traditional crane lifts. Thermaduct, a new product that improves the efficiency and overall aesthetics of external ductwork, was installed at the primary school. Countywide is one of the first companies in San Diego to use this new product, and had to order the material from the Midwest since it was not yet available in California at the time of install.
