Emerald STEM Magnet Middle School

This design-build project provides the complete demolition of existing MPR and Locker Room buildings, as well as the construction of a new 22,384 SF gymnasium building, a new 4,076 SF administration building, and a new 4,000 SF food service building for the Cajon Valley Unified School District. The work was broken into two increments: one to construct site utilities and demolish the existing locker and MPR buildings; and two for the construction of site work, shade structures, and the new MPR/gymnasium, administration, and food service buildings. The Division of the State Architect (DSA) approved the project in June 2015, construction began in September 2015, and occupancy in August 2016.

Countywide Mechanical partnered with McParlane & Associates, Erickson-Hall Construction Company, and Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke Architects to achieve a sustainable and cost effective design.
