Twentynine Palms Chiller Replacement

This design-build project provides for the replacement of multiple water-cooled chillers, associated cooling towers and pumping systems, and a new DDC control system for multiple buildings at MCAGCC 29 Palms, California. Plant 1531B1 includes the design and installation of (2) 200-ton chillers, (2) 200-ton cooling towers, a (9) pump condenser/ chilled water/stand-by pumping system and piping, and a new DDC Controls system to serve the cooling load for multiple buildings on base. Plant 1571B1 includes the design and installation of (1) 200-ton chiller, (2) 200-ton cooling towers, a (9) pump condenser/chilled water/ stand-by pumping system, and a new DDC Controls system to serve the cooling load for multiple buildings on base. Finally, Plant 1748B1 includes the design and installation of a new 400-ton absorption chiller, a (6) pump condenser/chilled water/and stand-by pumping system, new condenser water piping, and a new DDC Controls system to serve the remaining buildings at the MCAGCC 29 Palms base.
