Utilizing Lean Construction processes during project pre-planning, we identify areas of piping, plumbing ductwork, and equipment skids that can be prefabricated while the design is finalized and other construction takes place. In the dedicated fab shop, we perfect our craft and prefabricate modular components for all phases of work, allowing us to control the environment and quality of craftsmanship. Once completed in the shop, all items are tagged, packaged, and shipped to the individual job sites for installation. Working hand-in-hand with the VDC department, the prefab shop is able to design and construct for existing buildings, working around the available space/systems and new construction, coordinating with other trades. Because when productivity increases and crew sizes are controlled, the result is a successful project for all.
